The summer of 2007 has been pretty terrible so far. After weeks of rain and flat grey days, landscape photographers tend to get a bit restless. Eventually desperation turns to determination, you pack up your kit (remembering to include the umbrella and your fastest lens) and head out into the woods to find something to shoot...
When you start tuning in to the subtlest of differences in light and tone there's so much beauty to be found, even on the dullest of days. If you look with the right eyes, overcast turns out to be just another name for a beautiful soft light that permeates every shadow and makes the greens of the forest glow.
