A misty winter morning on the River Lowther, Eden Valley.
By mid-December the sun barely clears the horizon in Cumbria, and this narrow little gorge carved by the Lowther is in deep shadow for most of the day. Each morning a ray of sun hits the gorge like a spotlight. In less than an hour it creeps across from one side of the river to the other before leaving the gorge in shadow again.
An Open Edition of smaller prints, on 9" x 6" (228 mm x 152 mm) paper and mounted ready to frame in widely available A4 sized frames.
